BLAZED looking for guitarist
Dear Friends!
The former lead guitarist for BLAZED, Omar Zerrei has left the band on GOOD TERMS to pursue other avenues of music.
So, what does that mean?
It means... that I need someone new to write with! I need a tight as nails rhythm guitar player who can do a bit of lead if need be and I need them NOW!
BLAZED currently has two Independent Record Deals on the table with Black Lotus Records in Greece and Fast Lane Records in Oklahoma! And before we sign we are finally taking our stuff to the major labels!
So, seeing that either way (Indy or Major) we WILL be gearing up to do AN ALBUM and then TOURING by the end of next year, we really need a guitar player!!!
Now, I am not about to settle on anyone. I'm looking for THE GUY. The one who completes me. The one who gets our stuff and writes the kind of things I want to hear and ALSO someone who can perform his ass off! I want a Slash, a Dimebag, an Angus, I want a partner on the front of the stage.
Requirements:
1) Needs to live in or around NY or at least be willing to get his ass to practice if he's a little further.
2) He needs to be young. I'd prefer someone around my age early 20s, or at least a baby faced older guy.
3) Needs to get enjoyment out of playing rhythm guitar on stage, because that is mostly what he will do.
4) Needs to be tight as nails.
5) Needs to be willing to put on a show, get a little dressed up, perform for the people who come to see us.
6) Needs to be committed.
7) Needs to be a cool guy who is easy to work with. I need to like him, because I'm going to be spending a lot of time, writing a lot of songs with him. (I'm sitting on like 50!)
 NEEDS TO BE A ROCKSTAR!!! Not an asshole, but a ROCKSTAR!
9) And he also has to be able to sing back up vocals very well, cause I tend to write a lot of them. =)
As far as the sound I'm looking for goes, we'll be doing the same kind of stuff we've been doing but I'm definitely looking for more of a Rob Zombie, AWK, Marilyn Manson type guitar sound. I want something tight and chunky. I really want our rhythms to knock you on your ass.
