Darkest's Wars
Anyone who's read Crossing of the Paths will immediately know what's going on here! Just in case there are some people havn't and still want to participate, here is the basic background story for this RP
The setting:
It is several hundreds of years in the future, and Mewtwo has split himself into his good and evil sides. The two sides, Darkest and Lightest, have started a war with each other that will last thousands of years. After many years of preparation, Darkest and Lightest have created their own armies, clones of themselves designed to be equally psychically powerful. They have also constructed vast space armadas, and now they are prepariung the first series of galactic battles.
Both Darkest and Lightest have opened their doors to any beings who would be willing to fight for them. They are looking for three types of people: tacticians, pilots, and psychic warriors. A tactician will reside strictly inside a flagship and share opinions with Darkest or Lightest on strategies. They will aid Darkest or Lightest with the direction of pilots or psychic warriors in battle.
Pilots will pilot fightercraft and/or command lesser ships depending on their specializations. Darkest and Lightest have openings for pilots on all classes of ships from light fighters to Class 5 Heavy Battleships. Pilots are expected to take orders from any tacticians or Darkest/Lightest without question.
If tjhe tacticians were to be said to be the brains of Darkest and Lightest's forces and the pilots the limbs, then the psychic warriors would be the weapons wielded by them. A Psychic warrior would be expected to participate in any ground battles on planet surfaces and boarding actions on ships or stations. They are expected to take orders from any tacticians, pilots, or Darkest/Lightest without question.
So in this thread you must first pick a side to join. Then you must choose whether you want to be a tactician, pilot, or warrior. Do not pick tactician unless you are ready to make serious, thoughtful strategic posts. Though it is true you will have more power in the ranks, you will be expected to do more brain work.
I personally will RP Darkest and Lightest, and you all may use your own characters and join any side at any position.
This RP thread will be run in four sections that represent the four phases of the war: The Division Wars, the Assaults of 3643, The Insurrections, and the Hylian Wars. I will post out of character to give the in-game EVENTs that affect both sides, as well as any plot-advancements.
Now, I will start the thread officially by posting the first EVENT!
Darkest has taken the initiative, he has moved the first branch of his fleet into the Epsilon 367 System and has bombarded the system's planets into rubble. After finishing with the planets, he has set up one of his star-killer cannons on a satellite orbiting the system's star. He plans to fire the cannon into the system's star in approxiamately three days, causing it to supernova and destroy the four neighboring systems, one of which is inhabited.
Lightest cannot stand by and watch this happen, his sensibilities won't let him stand for it. He plans to send his forces in a day before the cannon is scheduled to fire.
This will be Battle #1 of the Division Wars Section.
Recruitment is open, Darkest and Lightest need your help in the coming battle. Choose a side and position before it starts!
