The matron, Madam Pomfrey, can mend almost any injury and illness. This clean white room has beds lining the walls, many potion bottles and remedies in cubboards around the place, and the Matron's office at the far end.

Gryffindor Common Room
Give the Fat Lady portrait the password to enter here. A warm comfortable room in shades of red. Many squashy and careworn armchairs lay around the room. A blazing fireplace is lit on colder nights. Two staircases lead off to each dormitory.

Gryffindor Boys Dormitory
Each dormitory room contains five four-poster beds, each with hangings which can be drawn round for privacy. A magically refilling waterjug is on one windowsill.

Gryffindor Girls Dormitory
Identical to the boys, with one small difference. While girls can go up to the boys dorms, boys will find the staircase turning into a slide if they try to get to the girls.

Slytherin Common Room
Hidden in the Dungeous behind a protrait of Parcelus, the Slytherin common room features many elaborate green chairs, stone floors with rugs thrown about, a fire place, and torch brackets wrought like serpents. You need a password to enter.

Slytherin Boys Dormitory
Standard dormitory. The beds here have green pillows and blankets. Being sublevel, the lighting in here comes from a chandelier of many brass intertwining snakes.

Slytherin Girls Dormitory
Similar to the boys rooms, the Slytherin girls dorms also have a large mirror in each room. If a boy tries to enter the staircase leading up here, they will find themselves repeatedly thrown away from the steps by an invisible forcefield.

Hufflepuff Common Room
Walk through a gold framed mirror on the third floor and find youself in the Hufflepuff common room. Bean bags and throw cushions lay everywhere around this room, all in shades of yellow. Many cheerful pictures line the walls, and a fire crackles merrily on the far wall.

Hufflepuff Boys Dormitories
Five beds to a room, all bedding in shades of yellow. Out of the boys windows you get a good view of the lake.

Hufflepuff Girls Dormitory
The same as the boys room, but with a forest view instead. Each Hufflepuff girls room also comes with a vanity table with one draw for each student down the sides of it, and a circular mirror atop it. The door guarding the girls staircase will not open to boys.

Ravenclaw Common Room
Knock on the back-to-front helmet of a suit of armor on the fifth floor and he will stand aside to open the camoflaged door of the Ravenclaw common room. Many desks and padded high-back chairs are around here, with a few bookcases too. Many of the books from them are peoples old unwanted textbooks, and unreturned library books.

Beds coverd in blue, the Ravenclaws boys rooms have a great view of the Quidditch pitch, meaning they are first to find out about other teams tactics.
