You have to still remember that Mewtwo is a drawed character and is part of a kids Anime, if Mewtwo was part of a more mature Anime, they might (might being the key word) of add more detail to his out look.

Biologically saying, that what Vicky has said holds ground. Here, lets start with this:

Mew:
Let take a look at what mew is (source of Mewtwo's existence): rare, yes.... mystical, yes.... but can we really say that its rarity makes it so that it do not have the need to reproduce a good reason at this is the fact that Mew has every others pokemon DNA: now this is an interesting, that it is. Cause the mean that it is part of every Pokemon, and that is it may have been the beginning of all Pokemon, even more interesting is the fact the Mew species might be able to make new kinds of Pokemon at will...


Transformation:
Interesting is that the fact that Ditto is not the only Pokemon that can do this trick, Mew also knows this ability, Ditto I believe was a Mew at one point that use it's transform ability so many times that it's body has forgotten it's original form and with the fact that Ditto can breed with other Pokemon just by changing it's Form to match the requirement of the Pokemon that it wishes to mate... but the one thing that you must keep mind that Mew has a form already... and with the fact that it hold every type of DNA then it may even be able to chose what type of DNA it wishes to use while mating w/o the need of changing it form, with this mews may even be able to change there gender at will. (Most of this is theories there are still more wholes in the Information that I have written.)

The Creation of Mewtwo:
Now as you all know Mewtwo was made from the fossilized reminisce of Mew, now lets just say that if what I said about is true then lets just state that the Mew that has become deceased and become the fossil that the scientists found was a male, based on the theory I wrote above, then the clone that they where trying to make, please make note that they where trying to make and enhanced version of mew. Now... this is where I feel a little lost... but while using the DNA they where not just trying to make Mewtwo, but as seen in the "Birth of Mewtwo", it seems that the Scientist used the fact that Mew's DNA matches with all other Pokemon's DNA and used that to create Bulbasaur2, Charmander2, and Squirtle2. (Amber[Ai]... I have no idea if weather or not that Mew's DNA was used in her creation, My theory is that it was not use cause that Dr.Fuji was so intended on getting his daughter back that may of not want to disrupted her DNA fearing that if he did there might be a chance that she would of be come a Pokemon and not the little girl that he long to be in his arms once again)

Sadly for some reason the 3 out of 4 died during this phase of creation, is the reason that Mewtwo survived was because of the fact that Mewtwo's DNA based more closely to the Mew that had die. (I really wish I could see what the other clones they had made before the the last 4 in which that the 3 had died in, cause will not be able to confirm what I have just stated) another thought is that, I believe that Mewtwo was not the Pokemon that they really cared if it lived or died, as from what you could see from the other clones beside a few color disfigurements the bodies where really all whole, almost no different then what a normal Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirlte would look like, but Mewtwo looked anything but like a Mew.... My guess is a mess up in it's DNA has to be the cause of this disfigurement not to mention the it's second neck in most case is a byproduct, but in the end only Mewtwo survived... If what I have said is true the changes in the DNA may be the reason why Mewtwo loses the ability to be able to use all the TM like Mew can and is only able to use the ones that best suits his Abilities for fighting.(This last phase I could not think of proper words to use) Not only that Mewtwo had also lost the ability to shape change and (again if what I stated above is right about Mew) the Ability to gender change, now think about this, if the Mew that DNA that was use to make Mewtwo was idea a male at the time of death and cloning process is the reason that most of Mewtwo's orginial abilities of a Mew were lost, that mean (again stating that Mew was a Male) that Mewtwo could not gender change and that his gender is locked as a male.



Now I'm not sure of this but I believe that in "Mewtwo Returns" aka "Mewtwo Lives Part 1 & 2" Giovanni make a comment to Mewtwo as he does what Giovanni tell it to do, which is to enter the force field that is being created by the two Machines that are used to suppress his powers down to nothing, the Comment that Giovanni make is "That’s a good boy.” Now I'm not sure if it is a Translation mixes up or that in the Japanese version of the same scene may of said something different, But when you think about who else besides the scientist that made know what his gender is then Giovanni, for sure he would of received all the test record based on what Mewtwo is and what he can do.

Inclusion, I believe that more then anything that Mewtwo is not genderless, because even in though in the game it says that he is genderless is only because they don't want you to be able to breed and army of this Pokemon, it is just to keep odds fare. Never the less the new Pokemon that involves Mew as the main Pokemon of the Movie that is coming up (for those of who saw the trailer of it), it will hopefully open up a few mysteries about that may even fill in the holes or even change of what I know of Mew as of now.

Back on topic though, if what I have stated is right then maybe somewhere not of this reality, someone weather it is a male or female is in the loving arms of a Mewtwo, and are going to have the best time in there life... a thought wish would come true for me... but sadly after all we do not live in a Pokemon world... but more then ever we have dreams and hope, who know maybe... one of us here at ToM will get that chance... who know... but keep hoping... no matter what...

<Sighs> I think I forgot one or two things that I wanted to write in this... If I read this in a little bit from now I might have more to add...
